Financial Reporting Manager
Brentford - West London, South East England

Job Details:
Responsible for the management and integrity of the financial reporting process for GSK Export Ltd, a tier one group company, and 7 subsidiary companies and 7 further GSK reporting entities - liaising with the remotely located Genpact finance team to ensure that all reporting is achieved within Corporate timeframes and guidelines.
The role encompasses financial reporting and review, and key liaison with external auditors, Corporate Finance, Corporate Tax and EATA. The key responsibilities are:
Monthly/Quarterly Reporting & Review
• To act as first point of contact for Genpact team in respect of all aspects of financial reporting.
• In conjunction with the Finance Director, to undertake the month-end TB review, preparing and interpreting analysis to support this review (GSKE and small companies / reporting entities).
• In conjunction with the Finance Director, to undertake the month-end significant journals review.
• To review reconciliation of month-end TB to Unison submission, ensuring integrity of Unison reporting (GSKE and small companies / reporting entities).
• To prepare and co-ordinate across all business sectors within GSK Export the monthly GSK Export management report and commentaries, for review with Finance Director & VP - Trading Partner Operations.
• To manage the monthly reporting including variance analysis of the Export overheads and operation excellence expenses; liaising directly with the VP - Trading Partner Operations.
• Manage several quarterly review processes to ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley key controls.
• Annual Reporting (Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax, Withholding Tax, PPRS)
Revenue & Profit Management.
• To manage quarterly profit review for GSKE and US Export – liaising with Genpact finance team and EATA to ensure that all queries are resolved and any resulting profit adjustments made in a timely manner.
• To manage month end revenue recognition – including quarterly revenue recognition testing – liaising with Genpact finance team, Trading Partner Operations and satellite invoicing teams.
• To act as the first point of contact in respect of all revenue recognition queries for GSKE.
Audit
• In conjunction with external auditors and Genpact finance team to undertake planning for all audit cycles.
• In conjunction with the Finance Director, to act as a primary point of contact for the external auditors during the financial audit and to liaise with both Export Finance (UK and Genpact) and the external auditors to ensure that the audit is completed to timetable.

| Person specification: |
| |
| Basic qualifications required:
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA) with proven experience in management, statutory and tax reporting.
• Proven experience of implementing and running financial processes and systems.
• Ability to take the initiative, recognise issues and propose / implement innovative solutions without significant management input.
• Highly computer literate with a sound knowledge of packages (Unison and TM1) and custom systems.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience of working with third party suppliers/outsourcing. |
