Working in the UK
On completion of their ACCA studies in the UK, the majority of international trainees return to their home country to obtain the relevant work experience for ACCA membership. If you are considering obtaining relevant work experience in the UK, you will need to be aware of the rules and conditions that apply to international students studying in the UK.
ACCA does not place trainees into jobs or arrange work permits. It is your responsibility to gain appropriate work experience.
Please note: The UK employment market is very competitive. The majority of trainee accountants in the UK work full time whilst studying and taking exams. Therefore, most UK employers expect ACCA students and affiliates to already have significant relevant work experience.
