ACCA UK & Ireland Golf Challenge 2008
Southern England Heat 22 April 2008
The southern heat held on 22 April 2008 at Hanbury Manor was a wonderful day out for the golfers. The weather held out and everyone enjoyed the course. After their round of golf the members enjoyed dinner in the conservatory overlooking the wonderful course.

Wales Heat 23 May 2008
On a sunny 23 May at the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel & Golf Club, 35 ACCA members and guests fought it out for a chance to play in the 2008 ACCA Golf Final at Marriott Vila Sol, Portugal on 2 October. The top four members have won an ‘all expenses paid’ trip to Portugal to represent Wales in the final against members from England, Ireland and Scotland. The event, sponsored by Hays Accountancy and Finance, has once again proved to be very popular with a very enjoyable day had by all. Joy Mendoza, Regional Director for Hays said,
‘This is the fifth year that Hays Accountancy and Finance have sponsored the ACCA Golf Challenge and once again we have had a fantastic day of networking with great company in beautiful surroundings.’
The Wales Heat finalists include, Michael Flanagan, Paul Foster, Martyn Wallberg and Colin Stone.
