- Aberdeen Saturday CPD Conferences
 - On 9 May, ACCA held its first Saturday Conference in Aberdeen. Due to the success of this event we are holding two more conferences this year.  - These two one-day courses focus on the key areas of accounting standards, VAT and dealing with HMRC. They are designed to keep finance professionals up to date with the significant developments in these areas.
- Charity Sector Seminars
 - Professional Courses’ charity sector seminars are designed to keep you up-to-date with recent developments in the sector and provide guidance on best practice. You will also have an opportunity to exchange your views and experiences with other delegates working in the same field.
- Companies Act Update – Stirling
 - The Companies Act 2006 will be fully in force on 1 October 2009. This means now is the best possible time to review the changes brought about, and particularly those taking effect on that date. Accordingly special emphasis will be given to the new model articles, changes to the rules governing shares and share capital, company names, administrative restoration of companies and the abandonment of the objects clause together with changes at Companies House. There will also be a review of changes already in force such as directors’ duties and communications within companies.
