ACCA's website

Advisory Website

As part of a project to substantially enhance the services ACCA UK provides for its members in the SMP market, ACCA UK has launched an improved section of its website targeted at this audience. Branded under the Technical Advisory (TA) service, this builds on content that was previously provided by the TA and is an additional resource to the already popular telephone and e-mail service provided by the TA.

The site is broken down into six sections - 'audit, assurance and reporting', 'financial reporting', 'taxation (direct and indirect)', 'ethics and money laundering', 'legislation', and 'practice management and development'. Within each of these six sections we have pulled content together under the following headings - 'what's new', 'legislation and standards', 'guidance, examples and case studies', 'articles and comment' and 'useful links'.

The webpages also draw together relevant content from across ACCA's global website (e.g. from the 'professional standards' or 'ethics' sections) and will be updated frequently in response to market developments. To view the Advisory website, click here.

CPD Events Database

ACCA's website has a comprehensive listing of all upcoming continuing professional development events both in the UK and world-wide which can be viewed on the Events page.

Publications

To see a list of ACCA publications relevant to practitioners, visit the Public Practice Sector page. These include sector-specific booklets, advisory publications, client-focused business booklets, small business publications and current research projects. ACCA's quarterly magazine for practitioners - In Practice - can be found on the In Practice page.

Benefits & Discounted schemes

ACCA secures, from time to time, arrangements with external suppliers to provide practitioners with products or services at preferential rates or with added facilities. This policy is applied where it is not practical or appropriate for ACCA to provide such facilities directly.

Small Business

Over half of ACCA's members worldwide work in or for small businesses. ACCA is therefore actively involved in this sector and this part of the website contains information and services which can help if you work in a small business. For more information visit the Small Business page.

Knowledge Library

The Knowledge Library draws together ACCA's resources including technical updates, research reports, consultation responses, commentaries, opinion pieces and much more. Members can search by topics, by resource types, alphabetically, or by key words. The Knowledge Library is located in the myACCA website.

Ethics

ACCA has developed a microsite devoted specifically to ethics. This gives members practical guidance on ethical questions and dilemmas which they may face. The website contains a huge range of resources including diagnostic tools, case study materials and ethics e-learning modules. Follow the link to the Ethics Microsite.
