Non-residence in (or domicile outside) the UK
HMRC has identified a problem with the online filing of form SA109 Non-residence in, or domicile outside, the UK.
Where Box 9.2 has been ticked, this has not been accurately recorded on their system.
Their records therefore wrongly show that a customer has claimed relief that they are not entitled to.
They have taken up this problem with their IT service provider and those taxpayers affected need take no further action.
