The ACCA UK Sustainability Reporting Awards shortlist for 2008 was chosen in August. The selected companies were:

What do mainstream analysts really think about social and environmental disclosures in the Annual Report?
What is the current state of play of integrated reporting and where is it likely to move in the future?
What are the future scenarios for carbon reporting in the UK?
Where is sustainability reporting going, given the current economic downturn?
These questions, and many more, will be answered on Wednesday 3 December 2008 at the ACCA UK Sustainability Reporting Awards ceremony, being held at the British Library in London.

Dr Craig Mackenzie, Director of the Carbon Benchmarking Project at Edinburgh University
Richard Slack, Reader in Accounting at Newcastle Business School
For the first time this year, ACCA is also holding a 'Meet the Judges and Winners' workshop session, where delegates will get a chance to interact with and pose questions to the ACCA Awards judging panel and 2008 winning companies (which will be announced on the day) as well as discuss the reporting recommendations made by the panel. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AFTERNOON SESSION IS NOW FULL.
