These resources have been developed to assist careers advisers in delivering support and advice to prepare students for the ACCA Qualification and a career in accountancy.

ACCA's Student Business Relationship Team

The Student Business Relationships team is involved in a wide range of activities, engaging prospective students in all UK universities. The team consists of five Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) each responsible for a geographical region of the UK. Each BRM works closely with the universities in their region developing, relationships with both careers advisers and academics to assist them in delivering careers advice.

  • Ally Stokoe: Scotland & North East.
  • Kylie Skinner: South West, South Wales & Midlands.
  • James Johnston: North of England, North Wales & East Midlands.
  • Abdul Goffar: Essex, Home Counties, Northants, Leicestershire.
  • Clare Livermore: South/Central London, Norfolk, South East England & Channel Islands.

You can contact your BRM by emailing studentpromotions@accaglobal.com.By developing a relationship with a BRM you can access tailored support in delivering finance related careers advice. The general activities that BRMs engage in include:

  • Presentations from ACCA staff - BRMs regularly deliver presentations to university students on pursuing a professional accountancy qualification and the career opportunities available.
  • University careers fairs and events - BRMs regularly attend university-based graduate recruitment careers fairs and events in addition to national graduate recruitment fairs across the UK.
